Seth Macfarlane on Family Guy's path to success

Most of you know by now that I'm a huge fan of Family Guy and I look up to Seth Macfarlane not only for his talent but also on his resourcefulness.  Here's a speech he did talking about his path from being an unknown 24 year old animator to becoming a billion dollar franchise years later.  It's an amazing story regardless whether you hate random cutaways to obscure pop culture references that have nothing to do with the plot.  At the end of the day, he made it.
