Sunday Night Wrap-Up

I'm so happy that HBO is still going strong in the summertime while the rest of the networks are flushing out re-runs and bad reality TV experiments during this slow time.  I'm loving the new season of True Blood and it's got to be one the best shows HBO has ever done.  I'm also really into Hung and think that Thomas Jane should be nominated for an Emmy soon.  He's doing a great job on the show.  It's well written and acted.  I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't caught it yet.  Finally, I have to take this time to call out Entourage for being the worst show on TV.  Ok, maybe not worst show on TV but it sure as hell become the Terri Schiavo of TV shows.  I used to love this show but right now the plot is recycling itself and it's putting its focus on all of the uninteresting characters.  It's annoying to have Jamie Lynn Singler aka Meadow Soprano playing herself while she's paired up with her real life boyfriend.  I can careless about this subplot and I'm hoping that Mark Walhberg will his show off life-support after this lame season.  I just don't see it going anywhere and I think it's better to quit now before the rest of the audience catches on how bad everything has gotten.  Besides that, Sundays are best done by HBO.
