Some movies are better left made for TV.

I recently caught Year One at the theaters and had to admit as much as I laughed during the movie, it was truly is a film that was best made for cable.  There's not much wrong with it because it is funny and the performances were up to par but as I sat there for the roughly 90 or so minutes, I kept telling myself that I'm not watching a movie worthy of my $10.  I'm sure in a few months once it will hit the cable loop, I'm sure I'll like it more but there's something I can't put my finger on as to why I felt disappointed with this film.

I can't recommend this film for you to go out of way to get the movies but I'm sure you'll enjoy it when it eventually gets on cable and it's late at night.
