HUNG

I recently checked out the new HBO show Hung and one episode in and I'm already a fan.  It's about a high school basketball coach that loses his wife, then his house burns down and then loses custody of his kids since he's now homeless.  Desperate times calls for desperate measures and he uses the one thing that hasn't failed him yet: his huge penis.  He becomes a male escort and that's where the fun begins!

Thomas Jane does a great job in this show and its his best performance yet.  I thought he sucked as the Punisher but then again, that movie sucked altogether.  It's ironic the show that relaunches his career follows a similar path like his first big movie Boogie Nights (he's the Chip N' Dale's dancer that robs Alfred Molina's character).  They're both about dumb guys with big dicks that pull through life's challenges and come out on top in the end.  The writing on the show is excellent and does some mild social commentary since it takes place in current day Detroit which touches on the town's mountain of problems.  I almost forgot to mention the supporting cast is also excellent too.  I'm more than sure that HBO has another hit on their hands.
