Spidey Reboot
My dream of starring as Peter Parker/Spider-man just got closer. Tobey Maguire has left the franchise along with director Sam Raimi and just about everybody else involved in the previous 3 movies. I loved the first two films and I was thoroughly disappointed with the last one. That movie was awful in every which way. When I heard that from the get-go that Spidey 4 was having problems, that gave me hope that they just might reboot the franchise just like how Warner Brothers did it with the Batman franchise. I just had a feeling that Raimi has nothing else to say with his vision of Spider-man. I pretty much lost excitement with those movies. Now all respect to Tobey and Raimi for making two excellent films. As a life long Spidey fan, they made just about every dream come true for me. The third movie was a hot mess to say the least. I think they're leaving it at the right time. The last movie didn't tank at the box office (it was a huge hit) but it did leave a sour taste in everybody's mouth. I wish both guys well in their future projects. I just hope that Sony and Marvel step it up to make the best film possible.
